PickleFest 2014

On Sunday August 3rd the Beverly Hills Farmers Market celebrates it's 20th anniversary with the 2nd annual PickleFest contest and celebration sponsored by legendary delicatessen Nate 'n Al. The free event features entertainment, family-friendly fun, crafts and contest for "Best Dill Pickle". Concerts on Cañon

Healthy Heart Lunch & Learn

Be Water Wise

As summer heats up the city wants to remind you to Be Water Wise. In Beverly Hills more than 65% of the water used goes to landscaping. It's important to remember that the city's mandatory watering-days program is still in effect. Watering is prohibited everyday between 9am and 5pm and you should only water your lawn or garden on designated days for your neighborhood. If you live north of Santa Monica Blvd you may water your lawn on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. South of Santa Monica Blvd. water only on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The first phase of a ban on single-use plastic shopping bags took effect July 1st, requiring shoppers at five large stores in Beverly Hills to provide their own reusable bags or purchase paper ones.
